Noyes Art Gallery will host its annual Patron Party on Friday, Aug. 17, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. This year’s event is themed “A Taste of Italy” and offers pizza and ice cream to thank the gallery’s patrons for their support.
Gayle Kuhlman, who organized this event, will expand her display of landscapes and nature-inspired paintings. Her work ranges from sprawling vistas to micro-focused views, and she’s not afraid to work on unusual surfaces like ceiling tiles.
In addition, 11 other Noyes artists will bring in their latest work to premiere. These artists include Deb Monfelt (painting), Doug Hoevet (sculpture), Janna Harsch (painting), Jo Brown (painting), Julia Noyes (painting), Linda Marshall (painting), Robyn Reuben (painting), Sarah McWilliams (painting), Sharon Sykes (steampunk creations), Therese Bauer (painting) and Tom Marshall (photography). This group represents a broad range of styles and visions from bold abstract to nostalgic and plein air landscapes to expressive single-subject views.
Noyes, a cooperative art gallery, displays the work of more than 60 artists in many different media. Many of these artists will attend the Patron Party to thank customers for supporting local art. So this event is a great way to learn more about your favorite artist's work.
Located at 119 S. Ninth St., Noyes Art Gallery has been presenting unique artwork for 25 years under the direction of owner and operator Julia Noyes.
