NRG Media Lincoln introduced RED 94-5 on Monday, a contemporary hits radio station targeting ages 18 to 34. The station (KBBK-HD2, 94.5 FM) formerly simulcasted KLIN. It can be heard at 107.3-2 on high-definition radios.

“RED 94-5 is a compilation of what Lincoln listeners told us they want from a radio station; focused on playing more new music and being actively involved with their lifestyle ,” said Steve Albertsen, NRG Lincoln operations manager.

Core artists on the station include Arianna Grande, Sam Smith, Iggy Azaela, Avicii, Katy Perry, Justin Timberlake, Calvin Harris, Rihanna and John Legend. Caleb James is the station's program director, who launched the station with 10,000 songs in a row, commercial free.

“It’s very important to our brand launch to showcase the music exclusively,” James said. “RED 94-5 will resonate with the listeners beyond the music, but the heart and soul will be our mix of the most popular new music that Lincoln listeners will love.”

RED 94-5 can be streamed live at red945.com and listened to live with the Red 945 mobile app in the Apple store and Google Play.

NRG Media Lincoln also owns and operates Froggy 98 (KFGE 98.1 FM), B107.3 (KBBK 107.3 FM), KLIN (1400 AM) and Wow-FM (KLNC 105.3 FM).
