TADA Theater will begin its 10th season Friday, Aug. 10, with the musical comedy "I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change."
Love in all its glory is celebrated in this tuneful and witty musical comedy revue — from dating and waiting to love and marriage, and on through the trials and triumphs of in-laws and newborns, trips in the family car and pick-up techniques of the geriatric set. Four actors play over 30 characters in this quick-changing musical romp.
The cast features Patrick Beasley (AEA), Nick Ellis, Melissa Ford and Bethany Rouse. With book and lyrics by Joe DiPietro and music by Jimmy Roberts, "I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change" is directed by Robert D. Rook. Musical direction is by Cris Rook, choreography by Melissa Ford, accompaniment by Alicia Opoku and Graham House, scenic painting by Dustin Witte, costume coordination by Karen Statham and stage carpentry by Rod Fowler, Chris Harroun, Bruce Thiel, Tommy Arenas, Harold Scott and Kevin Welch.
The production is sponsored by Green’s Furnace and Plumbing. The Actors' Equity engagement is made possible by the Charles Godwin Endowment Fund.
