Brooke Nelson started dancing at the age of 3 and began taking classes at Karen McWilliams Studio a couple of years later. She has been a part of the Karen McWilliams and Pas De Deux family ever since.
Brooke has a great passion for dance. She has been a part of studio productions such as "Carousel" and "Wizard of Oz," had roles in "The Lion King" and "Alice In Wonderland," as well as the lead role of Peter in "Peter Pan." Brooke continues to be a part of the Pas De Deux family, teaching classes at the studio where she can share her love of dance and choreography with students.
Brooke graduated from Lincoln East High School, where she was a member of the Apollonaires Dance Team. She is currently a junior majoring in psychology at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She is also a member of Chi Omega sorority, and as of this spring, of the Scarlets Dance Team.
“Becoming a member of this team has always been a huge goal of mine," Brooke says. "I am incredibly thankful for the support I’ve gotten from Pas De Deux that has allowed me to put in the time and hard work I needed to reach it. Getting to combine my love of dance and all things Huskers is a dream come true, and I can’t wait!”
