Here Come the Mummies

The Here Come the Mummies funk band, shown here playing at the 2015 Nebraska Pork Producers' Capital City Ribfest, returns to perform at Ribfest Saturday, Aug. 18.

The Nebraska Pork Producers’ Capital City Ribfest returns Aug. 16-18, featuring award-winning BBQ from across the nation and live music at the festival parking lot north of Pinnacle Bank Arena.

Ribfest hours are 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday, and 11 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

Live entertainment Thursday includes Chris Sayre at 11:30 a.m., Diamond Empire at 5 p.m., Evan Bartels & The Stoney Lonesomes at 7 p.m.; Friday, John Walker at 11:30 a.m., Mike Semrad & The River Hawks at 5 p.m., Lloyd McCarter & The Honky Tonk Revival at 7 p.m., the Emmett Bower Band at 9 p.m.; and Saturday, AM/FM at 7 p.m. and Here Come the Mummies at 9 p.m.

Tickets are available at the gate. Admission is free Thursday, Aug. 16, and Friday, Aug. 17, from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. with a can of food for the Food Bank of Lincoln as a suggested admission. More details: 402-904-4444 or pinnaclebankarena.com/events.
