Miranda Lambert will return to Pinnacle Bank Arena on Oct. 11, and she’ll be bringing along Maren Morris, Pistol Annies and Tenille Townes.
Lambert, who played one of the first Pinnacle Bank Arena concerts in 2013, announced the “Roadside Bars & Pink Guitars” tour Friday morning featuring an all-female lineup on each of its dates.
“I’m so excited and honored to be on tour with some of my favorite artists, who each inspire me in a different way,” Lambert said in a news release. “Maren Morris is a fiery fellow Texas girl that isn’t afraid to take a risk and be who she is. My fellow Pistol Annies are not only some of my best friends and writing partners, but also make me want to be a better artist every time we take the stage together. Tenille and others who will open a different leg of the tour are women who have something to say and they do it their own way. They are the next generation of fearless female artists, and I’m so thrilled to share a stage with them.”
Lambert, a two-time Grammy Award winner and reigning Academy of Country Music Female Vocalist of the Year, joined Ashley Monroe and Angaleena Presley to form Pistol Annies, whose “Interstate Gospel” album topped the country charts last year and was the No. 2 album of the year in the Country Music Critics Poll.
Morris was nominated for five Grammy Awards this year, one of them in the prestigious Record of the Year category for “Middle,” her crossover collaboration with producer Zedd and the duo Grey.
The rising star is nominated for Female Vocalist of the Year at the ACM Awards, which will be presented Sunday. Lambert is also nominated.
Tickets for Lambert’s concert will go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. at ticketmaster.com or by calling 800-745-3000. Tickets will be available at the arena ticket office beginning April 13. Ticket prices have not yet been released.
Lambert’s show is one of two newly announced arena concerts.
Nickelodeon star JoJo Siwa will bring her “D.R.E.A.M: The Tour” to Pinnacle Bank Arena on Aug. 24.
The Omaha-born Siwa, who will turn 16 in May, is a singer, dancer, actress and YouTube personality who posts videos of her life nearly every day on her channel "JoJo Siwa Vlogs.”
Known for her two years on the Lifetime reality series “Dance Moms,” Siwa had a hit with “Boomerang,” an anti-online bullying song that received more than 450 million video views and 2.5 million likes.
Nickelodeon will release Siwa’s second EP, “Celebrate,” Friday. The video for “Bop!”, the first single from the four-song EP, was released on her YouTube channel last month and has received more than 4.4 million views.
Tickets for Siwa’s concert are $39.50 to $69.50 and go on sale Friday at noon.
