Baseball player turned country singer Frankie Ballard will headline Friday night at the Comstock Windmill Festival after Luke Combs had to cancel due to losing his voice.
Ballard headlines with Ned LeDoux, the son of Chris LeDoux. Nashville country group Runaway June also performs Friday night.
Ballard has had three No. 1 radio hits — “Helluva Life,” “Sunshine & Whiskey” and “Young & Crazy,” and has opened for Lady Antebellum and Florida Georgia Line.
Lee Brice, the Casey Donahew Band and Nebraska native Lexi Larson take the stage Saturday.
Sunday acts include Diamond Rio, Texas singer/songwriter Cody Johnson and a return visit by Trick Pony.
Campsites and festival tickets are available online or at the gate. More information: windmillfestival.com.
