Nebraska Corvette Association show planners are expecting 225 Corvettes, including all seven generations from the last 65 years.

One of the largest All-Corvette shows in the Midwest will roll into the West Gate Bank parking lot, 6003 Old Cheney Road, on Sunday, Aug. 19, for the 25th annual Nebraska Corvette Association show.

Everyone is welcome to check out the cars from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. All Corvette owners are welcome to register their cars between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. Cars can be judged or on display only.

“We’re expecting 225 Corvettes, including all seven generations from the last 65 years,” said Bob Shriner, secretary of the Nebraska Corvette Association. “This year, we’ll have several unique Corvette race cars.”

Those race cars will include a 1956 Corvette Drag Car, a 1958 Scarab Continuation, a 1963 Grand Sport, a 1964 Cheetah and a 1990 ZR1 Black Widow, Shriner said.

The event draws about 3,000 spectators each year, Shriner said. Activities will include a 50/50 drawing and multiple silent-auction items. Proceeds will benefit the Food Bank of Lincoln BackPack Program and the Child Advocacy Center.

Lunch will be provided by LoLo’s, with FrozeN4U ice cream for dessert.
