RAYMOND – The second JAV Uncorked Festival gets underway Friday evening at James Arthur Vineyards in Raymond.
The weekend-long event kicks off Friday at 7:30 p.m. with impressionist and comedian Kier.
The Nashville, Tennessee resident has become known for his impressions of music stars. His impressions include Sting, U2, Dave Matthews, Bruce Springsteen, Roy Orbison, Bob Dylan, Frank Sinatra, Elvis, Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson and Prince.

Kier begins a weekend of live music and special events for the JAV Uncorked Festival. On Saturday, Lincoln singer and songwriter Josh Hoyer will perform an outdoor show from noon to 3 p.m. Local cover band Skylark takes the outdoor stage from 6-9 p.m. Admission is free.
Also on Saturday, JAV will host a “Sips & Succulents” class from 1-3 p.m. and a cornhole tournament at 1 p.m. Tickets for the succulents class are $40 each, while entry for the cornhole event is $20 per team.
On Sunday, Lincoln singer and songwriter Jumpin’ Kate Logan will perform a free-to-the-public set from 2-5 p.m. Her performance is part of JAV’s Sundays on the Deck music series, which includes sales of Ivanna Cone ice cream that are made with JAV wines.
Located at 2001 W. Raymond Road in Raymond, James Arthur Vineyards is Nebraska’s oldest operating and largest winery.
