For the fourth straight year, Nama Chaco won the people's choice award at Saturday's Chocolate Lover's Fantasy.
Founded and operated by Shinya Takahashi, Nama Chaco served two kinds of homemade dark chocolate at the 31st annual event held this year at Pinnacle Bank Arena.
Newcomer Adam Hurt received the judges' award for the most delectable chocolate. He served homemade pear- and raspberry-filled chocolates. Hurt works at Hillcrest Country Club.
The most creative use of chocolate award went to Chez Hay pastry chef Cye Teach, who created fudge in pie flavors (blueberry, pumpkin, cherry, pecan and caramel apple).
The night's best table design went to Lazlo's, which made an edible Monopoly board, with Haymarket businesses as properties.
