The Haymarket Farmers' Market opens for the season at 8 a.m. today, May 4, and will continue to provide farm-fresh produce, flowers, baked goods and handmade arts and crafts from over 100 vendors from 8 a.m. to noon every Saturday through Oct. 12.
The market will expand again this year, staging vendors along Canopy Street from P Street north to Q Street.
Many Haymarket restaurants and retail stores open early on Farmers' Market Saturdays, offering food, antiques, clothing and specialty gifts.
