The Florence Community Theater Proudly Presents:

The FCT Studio Series Production of Starkweather

Starkweather is based on the real events which captured and terrified the state of Nebraska in late 1957 and early 1958. Written by local author Doug Marr, this show is a riveting recount of the fear Nebraskans felt, and the trial of two teenagers accused of the worst crime in state history.

Between December 1957 and early January 1958, 19-year-old Charles Raymond Starkweather and his 14-year-old girlfriend, Caril Ann Fugate engaged in a killing spree which ended with 11 people murdered in the states of Nebraska and Wyoming.

Starkweather is a FCT Studio Series Production. FCT Studio Series productions are cutting-edge dramatic productions, which seek to bring a new level of depth to the Florence Community Theater. FCT Studio Series Productions are not part of the Florentine Players’ performance catalog.
