This exhibition challenges our ideas about what is beautiful, how we see ourselves and other women; while representing and celebrating the beauty in our diversity. One doesn’t have to be a certain size, color, shape or age to be beautiful. Each day a performance will represent more women, who should be represented on the wall as beautiful but feel they are “not pretty enough” to participate.

Tuesday through Friday, photos will be taken in the Medici (during the times listed above or by appointment) of new models and added to the wall. Anyone who has been subjected to female beauty standards is welcome to participate as a model. Models need to be willing to expose the area shown above but accommodations can be made for religious restrictions. Tank tops are the fastest and easiest way to achieve the nude look w/o removing your top. No tank top? No problem, you are welcome to be in your bra or nude- it’s up to you. The door will be locked and the photographer is female.
