U.S. Bank

U.S. Bank will close its branch at 4000 S. 27th St. on Jan. 25.

U.S. Bank is closing its branch near 27th Street and Nebraska 2.

The last day for the Bishop Heights branch at 4000 S. 27th St. is Jan. 25, company spokesman Evan Lapinska said.

Lapinska said that as banking habits change and more people migrate to online and mobile banking, "we are re-evaluating our physical footprint, and in some instances, consolidating a limited number of branch locations in select markets."

He said U.S. Bank is "working to make the transition as smooth as possible for all involved."
