Construction continues on April 12 on the boutique hotel planned for a building near 11th and P streets that will be called The Kindler Hotel. The 34-room hotel will be the centerpiece of a $10 million redevelopment of two buildings on the northeast corner of 11th and P streets.
Lincoln Children's Zoo
Doorways for giraffes and humans (right) line the walls in early May of the giraffe enclosure, a 250,000-cubic-foot structure under construction at the Lincoln Children's Zoo.

Scheels work continues
A crew works in early April atop the new Scheels building under construction at SouthPointe Pavilions. The store, which will be three times the size of the current one, is scheduled to open in September.

Lincoln Sports Complex
