March was another big month for passenger numbers at the Lincoln Airport.

Thanks to a huge increase for United Airlines, the airport saw 24% more passengers last month compared with March 2017. It was the fourth straight month that passenger numbers have increased over the previous year.

United's passenger numbers were up 43% for March compared with a year ago, which more than offset a slight 1% decrease for Delta Air Lines. Charter traffic also was up sharply, with a 31% increase for the month.

Year to date, overall passenger traffic is up 16%, thanks to a 32% increase for United. Delta traffic is down 3% for the year.
