LaMar's is trying to top their own stunt of delivering doughnuts by drone by sending its goods into space.

"It’s one small step for a doughnut maker, one giant leap for doughnuts," the company said in a news release.

To commemorate the 48th anniversary of the first man on the moon, LaMar’s partnered with Near Space Ballooning June 28 to use a high-altitude helium weather balloon in western Iowa.

The box of doughnuts made it more than 115,000 feet into the atmosphere, the length of 718 football fields.
