Fuse Coworking at 151 N. Eighth St. has hired a new executive director.

Fuse Coworking on Friday announced that is has hired a new executive director.

The co-working space said it hired Rena Valentino as executive director to continue to build and expand on its vision and mission after last year’s expansion. She succeeds Lana Zumbrunn.

Valentino, who is a brand and strategy consultant who owns her own firm,  said in a news release that she is excited about the new role and the opportunity.

“Lincoln is in a very exciting time right now with the density of startups, entrepreneurs, business development, and breadth of innovation across industries. I’ve been a part of it in a small way with clients, but am looking forward to launching Fuse to become even bigger and make a greater impact for this community and network,” she said.

Fuse is planning a celebratory open house on April 11 from 5-6 p.m. as a thank you to Zumbrunn for her service and a celebration of Valentino's transition into the new role.
