Frontier Airlines planes sit at the gate at Denver International Airport in April.

Frontier Airlines has announced more flights and additional destinations from Omaha.

The Denver-based discount carrier said Tuesday it is adding flights at Omaha's Eppley Airfield to Las Vegas, Philadelphia and San Francisco starting next spring.

Last week, Frontier announced it would add seasonal service from Omaha to Fort Myers, Florida, starting Nov. 9.

The Las Vegas flight will start April 8 and depart on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. The Philadelphia flight, which will be Omaha's only non-stop flight to that city, will start April 9 and depart on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. The San Francisco flight will start June 4 and will depart on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

Also Tuesday, Allegiant Airlines announced it will start flying twice a week from Omaha to Punta Gorda, Florida, which is about 25 miles north of Fort Myers.

Those flights will depart Omaha on Sundays and Thursdays beginning Dec. 14. Allegiant said the service is seasonal, but it did not give an ending date.
