The company has taken over a former Nebraska Book Co. warehouse near 14th Street and Pioneers Boulevard and added 45 employees, bringing its total workforce to about 125 people.
Bulu said in a news release that the new warehouse, which is its second in Lincoln, was needed to accommodate "booming growth" in its private-label subscription box business.
Founded in 2012 by Lincolnites Paul and Stephanie Jarrett, Bulu started out with its own product offering sample boxes of nutritional supplements. It branched out in 2016 to work with major retail brands to help them build their own subscription box programs.
Bulu recently moved its corporate offices from 13th and P streets to Fuse Coworking at Eighth and P. The company said in a news release that it is up to nearly a dozen active private-label clients and recently added athletic wear maker Lululemon as a client.
