HOUSTON (AP) — Kraton Performance Polymers Inc. (KRA) on Wednesday reported a second-quarter loss of $8 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.
On a per-share basis, the Houston-based company said it had a loss of 25 cents. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs and costs related to mergers and acquisitions, were 30 cents per share.
The specialty chemical company posted revenue of $355.7 million in the period.
Kraton shares have fallen 27% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $18.36, a fall of 40% in the last 12 months.
