Union Bank & Trust recently promoted Tyson Martin to church lending officer. In his new role, Martin will specialize in providing financing for the unique needs of churches and religious organizations throughout the country, with projects including new construction, remodeling or expansion.
He joined Union Bank in 2010, progressing through the customer service career path before joining Church Lending in 2017. Martin received his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and is an outreach elder at St. Mark Evangelical Lutheran Church. He is a member of Lincoln's Young Professionals Group and a co-chair of UBT's Community Involvement Committee.
Martin is a graduate of the bank's Customer Service Development program as well as the Leadership Development Program.He volunteers with many community organizations including United Way and Junior Achievement.
