Southeast Nebraska Cancer Center (SNCC) is excited to announce the recent addition of Amanda Bauer to their medical team as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN). Amanda worked as an oncology nurse for 10 years and then earned her Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Nebraska.
In addition to treating oncology patients, she will also be seeing patients at SNCC's palliative care clinic. She has over three years of experience with palliative medicine, which focuses on improving patients' quality of life, symptom management and advanced care planning.
"I am excited to bring my palliative care experience to SNCC and share it with our patients. My hope is to help patients manage their care and help them maintain the best possible quality of life," said Ms. Bauer.
