Lancaster Ag Society re-elects officers

Lancaster Ag Society officers

President Ron Dowding and Treasurer Karen Rutt have served over 10 years, while VP Kendra Ronnau and Secretary Jamie Bauman will be serving their second annual term.

President Dowding has served the Lancaster County Fair for over 40 years focusing on the livestock shows and is retiring from a long career at Continental.

VP Ronnau, who has a family farm near Hickman and is VP at Livingston Investments, has been volunteering for the county fair and 4-H/FFA programs since 1984 with focus on equine programs.

Treasurer Rutt is accounting manager at the Nebraska State Employees Credit Union and a third generation Ag Society board member in her 20th year with focus on Static Exhibits.

Secretary Bauman, a research technologist at UNL's Veterinary Diagnostic Center, and second generation Ag Society board member, is in her 2nd year on the board and has been involved with 4-H, FFA and UNL College Rodeo for over 10 years.
