Ameritas Chair JoAnn Martin announces the following officer elections, effective January 1, 2109.
Ron Kuehn was elected vice president - actuarial for the individual division of Ameritas. His previous position was second vice president and associate actuary.
Kuehn earned a B.S. degree in math from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He holds the professional designation of FSA (Fellow, Society of Actuaries) and MAAA (Member, American Academy of Actuaries).
Lauren Pugliese was elected second vice president of investments - real estate for Ameritas Investment Partners. She was previously director - real estate.
Pugliese earned a B.B.A. degree with a concentration in finance from Southern Methodist University, Dallas, Texas. She currently serves as board president for the Lincoln Children’s Museum and as board treasurer for the Madonna Foundation.
James Saroka was elected vice president of Total Rewards in human resources. He joined Ameritas in November 2018 with 20 years of HR experience.
Saroka earned a B.S. degree in business administration from the University of Nebraska Omaha and a master’s degree in human resource development from Villanova University, Villanova, Penn. He holds the professional designations SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources) and CCP (Certified Compensation Professional).

Andrea Snowden was elected second vice president and assistant general counsel - legal department. She joined Ameritas in October 2018, bringing nearly 20 years of experience in law.
Snowden earned a B.A. degree in English and political science from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a J.D. degree from the University of Kansas School of Law. Her bar admissions include the U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit, U.S. District Court for the District of Nebraska and the Nebraska Supreme Court. She also is a member of the Nebraska State Bar Association.
Mike Spurlock was elected second vice president of investments - commercial mortgage loans for Ameritas Investment Partners. His previous position was director of commercial mortgage loans.
Spurlock earned a B.B.A. degree in finance and real estate from the University of Cincinnati. He holds the CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) professional designation.
Forrest Wilson was elected vice president - national sales for the retirement plans division of Ameritas. He joined Ameritas in December 2018, bringing more than 25 years of retirement plans experience.
Wilson earned a B.S. degree in marketing from Central Connecticut State University, New Britain, Conn., and an M.B.A. degree in marketing and finance and marketing from New York University Stern School of Business, New York, N.Y. He holds the FINRA Series 7, 24 and 63 securities licenses.
