The former Five Guys Burgers & Fries location at 1230 P St. already has a new tenant.
According to a building permit filed Monday, the site is being remodeled into a Domino's Pizza.
The downtown Five Guys, which had chain's first location when it opened in 2010, closed at the end of October.
Franchisee Ryan Funke said at the time that the store was underperforming and its lease was up. The two other Lincoln Five Guys locations, at 2525 Pine Lake Road and Gateway Mall, remain open.
The new Domino's will be the chain's fifth location in Lincoln.
