Austad's closed its 48th and O streets location on Sunday. According to a Facebook post by the Sioux Falls-based golf retailer, the building has been sold and there are new plans for it.

This is the second time in 18 months Austad's has closed a store. Its location at SouthPointe Pavilions closed in August to facilitate the building of a larger Scheels store. It reopened a store across the street at 2801 Pine Lake Road Suite M last March.

The Austad's at 48th and O opened in 2000.
