Details for UNITED WAY OF LINCOLN & LANCASTER CO (TRADE) - Ad from 2019-09-19

Derrick, Lincoln NE
In 2016, after three years working towards a degree
in human services while homeless, Derrick was
diagnosed with kidney cancer.
Today, Derrick is in remission. By working with
the Community Action Partnership Lincoln office
through their homelessness prevention and
financial well-being programs, he was provided
the tools he needed to get a job, healthcare
benefits, and turn his life around. Agencies like
Community Action Partnership’s Lincoln office, in
cooperation with United Way, provide members of
our community with access to the resources they
need when they need them most.
Let’s face it: No one should live without the
chance for hope.
