MONDAY: Central Illinois 4, Lincoln 1.

WHAT WENT WRONG: Flying Aces goaltender Ryan Snowden stopped just about everything, halting 29 of 30 shots in Bloomington, Illinois.

The Stars struck first, but Central Illinois quickly answered in the second period on a power-play goal from Cameron Burke. The Aces' Michael Maloney followed with a short-handed goal five minutes later.

The Flying Aces added two goals in the third period.

WHAT WENT RIGHT: Lincoln, which defeated Central Illinois in a shootout Sunday, got on the board quickly in the second period when Collin Peters scored.

Lincoln goaltender Derek Schaedig (6-3-1) stopped 31 of 34 shots.

UP NEXT: Lincoln will play rival Omaha at 7 p.m. Friday at Ralston Arena.
