Saturday: Lincoln 4, Team USA 3.

What went right: The Stars scored twice in 12 seconds in the third period to rally at Plymouth, Michigan. With Lincoln trailing 3-2, Collin Peters scored from the slot at 14:56 to tie it for the Stars. Zach Dubinsky followed that at 15:06 with a shot that bounced off a Team USA player and over the goalie for the winning goal. The Stars killed a late power play, one of five for them in the game, to preserve the win. Stars goaltender Tomas Vomacka made 32 saves. Devlin McCabe and Josiah Slavin also scored for Lincoln.

What went wrong: Danny Weight scored twice for Team USA, giving him four points in the two-game series.

Next: The Stars travel to Sioux Falls, South Dakota, to take on the Stampede at 7 p.m. Friday.
