The Lincoln Stars picked up a 2018 Phase I draft pick from the Dubuque Fighting Saints in exchange for forward Chayse Primeau, the team announced Tuesday.

Primeau played 52 games for Lincoln last season, recording 12 points on five goals and seven assists. The Voorhees, New Jersey, native was drafted in the Phase II seventh round of the 2016 season, where he played along side his brother and Stars' goaltender Cayden Primeau.

Chayse Primeau was also drafted in the Phase II 12th round in the 2015 season by Lincoln and made his USHL and Stars debut in December 2015 against the Omaha Lancers.

Lincoln and Primeau will quickly be reunited, as the Stars and Fighting Saints open the USHL Fall Classic on Thursday at the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex in Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania, at 7 p.m.
