Four Lincoln Stars players have been selected to participate in the USA Hockey All-American Prospects game Sept. 21 in Buffalo, New York.

Twin brothers Cole and Christian Krygier, along with Philippe Lapointe and Paul Cotter, will be among the 42 best American-born players eligible for the 2018 NHL Draft.

Picked by USA Hockey and NHL Central Scouting, 127 All-American prospect alumni have been selected in the NHL Draft since the game began in 2012.

“We are thrilled for our players who were selected to play in the game,” manager Jon Hull said. “This is a fantastic opportunity for them to showcase their abilities in front of NHL scouts.”

Christian Krygier, Lincoln's first-ever tendered player, had two goals and three assists through 50 games last season with the Stars. Brother Cole Krygier recorded three goals and three assists through 37 games with Lincoln. Both represented Team USA at the 2017 Ivan Hlinka Memorial Cup in June.

Lapointe also represented Team USA with the Krygiers, and logged 15 goals and 44 assists in 56 games last season at Shattuck St. Mary's Prep School.

Cotter joins the Stars after earning North American Hockey League Rookie of the Year honors with the Brookings Blizzard after posting 28 goals and 32 assists in 59 games.
