Comments: Not much has happened here, aside from Lincoln Southeast beating three ranked teams last week to return to the rankings. With plenty of big games this week, next week may be a different story.

What a tournament: The Millard South Invitational, which begins today, includes three ranked teams (Creighton Prep, Millard North, Millard South). The championship game is 11 a.m. Saturday at Buell Stadium.

Games to watch: Friday—Lincoln Southwest at Lincoln Southeast. Saturday—North Platte Quad: Kearney vs. Lincoln East. Tuesday—Omaha South at Omaha Westside.

Game of the year: When Lincoln Lutheran and Lincoln Pius X play, its often one of the biggest games of the season, and this year is no different. The top two teams in the rankings will play at 5 p.m. Monday at Spirit Park. Jacob Ramsay (nine goals) and Nathan Polak (eight goals, 11 assists) are players to watch for Pius X. Cody Poteat has six shutouts for the Thunderbolts.

Games to watch: Saturday—Central Conference Tournament championship game (York at Columbus Lakeview), Wilderness Park, 1:30 p.m. Monday—Lincoln Lutheran at Pius X. Tuesday—Schuyler at Columbus Scotus.

Comments: Lincoln Southeast drops a few spots following a loss to Lincoln East on Tuesday. Lincoln Southwest and Lincoln Southeast play on Friday, with both teams coming off rare losses.

Worth noting: Omaha Westside’s past three games have gone to a shootout, with the Warriors going 2-1 in the extra session.

Games to watch: Today—Omaha Marian at Omaha Westside. Friday—Lincoln Southeast vs. Lincoln Southwest. Saturday—Millard West at Omaha Westside. Monday—Lincoln North Star at Lincoln Southeast.
