State champions end the season ranked No. 1.
Class A
1. Lincoln Southwest (34-7)
2. Papillion-La Vista (35-3)
3. Papillion-La Vista South (27-7)
4. Lincoln North Star (33-7)
5. Millard West (21-13)
6. Millard North (23-10)
7. Omaha Westside (19-10)
8. Lincoln East (21-13)
9. Lincoln Southeast (22-16)
10. Millard South (16-14)
Comments: It was an impressive run to the state title for Lincoln Southwest, which needed to beat Papillion-La Vista twice on championship Friday to break the Monarchs' reign. North Star falls one spot after a close loss to Papillion-La Vista South. Millard South remains in the ratings at No. 10, largely because of its 3-0 loss to Southwest in the district final.
Class B
1. Blair (26-3)
2. Omaha Skutt (24-6)
3. Seward (25-5)
4. Omaha Gross (23-12)
5. Beatrice (24-11)
6. Waverly (18-8)
7. Lincoln Pius X (18-12)
8. Columbus Lakeview (17-10)
9. Aurora (23-9)
10. Cozad (21-7)
Comments: Blair ends the season where it began - at the top. Columbus Lakeview moves in after winning its district and competing tough at state. The Viqueens jump
in at No. 8, ahead of Aurora and Cozad, after a 3-2 win against the Haymakers at the state tournament.
Class C
1. Yutan/Mead (28-1)
2. Bennington (28-9)
3. Wahoo (21-9)
4. Milford (23-10)
5. Wayne (24-6)
6. Gothenburg (23-5)
7. Fillmore Central/Exeter-Milligan (21-10)
8. Twin River (24-5)
9. Centennial (20-12)
10. Central City (17-9)
Comments: Yutan/Mead advanced through the state tournament without a loss. Wahoo jumps six spots with its 12-3 win against Twin River and a close game against Bennington. Milford moves to fourth because of its 3-1 win against then-No. 2 Wayne in the state tournament.
