The Lincoln Haymakers indoor football team has signed five players, including former Huskers Anthony West and Jordan Picou, and Lincoln Southwest graduate Blake Bolles.

West played defensive back for the Huskers from 2007-10. Picou is a 6-foot-3, 305-pound offensive lineman.

"Anthony and Jordan add a great deal to our team and what we are trying to build here in the Lincoln community; guys who have good character on and off the field," said Justin Hayes, director of football operations for the Haymakers.

Bolles was a standout quarterback at Lincoln Southwest and Division II Northwest Missouri State, where he was an All-American and Harlon Hill finalist.

The Haymakers also signed linebacker Willie Horn and wide receiver Nick Rhodes, both of whom played at Northwest Missouri State, and safety Eric Tyler.

The Haymakers will open their season on March 29.
