After a record-setting basketball career at Doane, Hanah Barnard was named a first-team NAIA Division II All-American on Thursday.

Barnard, a Beatrice graduate, set the school scoring records for single-game (38) and single-season (647) and her 20.9 points per game made her the first Tigers player to average more than 20 points in a season.

Concordia freshman Philly Lammers was named second team and teammates Mary Janovich and Quinn Wragge were honorable mention, as the Bulldogs lost in the NAIA Division II national semifinals.

On the men's side, Concordia senior forward Chandler Folkerts was second team along with Bellevue junior guard B.J. Shelton.
