Nebraska finished fifth as a team, with 100½ points, at the Cliff Keen Invite in Las Vegas on Saturday. Ohio State won the team title with 155½ points.
Isaiah White and Taylor Venz headlined the Husker lineup.
Venz finished third overall at 184 pounds, losing to Myles Martin of Ohio State in the semifinals by a tech fall, 19-5. White finished third as well at 165 pounds but fell in the quarterfinals to Te'Shan Campbell from Ohio State in a 3-1 decision. White won four matches in a row after that loss, including the third-place match against Campbell again.
Tyler Berger (157 pounds) and Chad Red (141 pounds) both finished fourth overall. Berger faced four ranked opponents in the tournament, and walked about 2-2 in those matches.
Colton McCrystal finished fifth after forfeiting his last two matches for medical reasons.
