Nebraska's Jan. 5 home game against Purdue, a rematch of the 2012 Big Ten Conference women's championship game, will be broadcast by CBS and will be the first Husker game to be televised nationally by one of the major non-cable networks.
That game, which will be the only Big Ten women's game CBS airs this season, is one of at least 10 Husker games that will be televised nationally.
The Huskers defeated Purdue 93-89 in triple overtime in West Lafayette, Ind., in the regular season, then lost 74-70 in double overtime in the Big Ten final in Indianapolis.
NU will make its first-ever appearance on the Pac-12 Network on Nov. 23 for a 4 p.m. CST game at USC.
The Huskers will face defending ACC Tournament champion Maryland on Nov. 28 at the Bob Devaney Center on BTN as part of the Big Ten/ACC Challenge. The Terrapins advanced to the NCAA Elite Eight last season and return the nucleus of a team that won 31 games.
Nebraska's matchup with Maryland will be the first of as many as nine Husker games set to appear on BTN.
All of Nebraska's non-nationally televised Big Ten Conference games and nonconference tilts against Temple (Nov. 11), Sam Houston State (Nov. 20) and Oral Roberts (Dec. 20) will be streamed live to the internet for subscribers of BTN.com.
