Nebraska's Jordan Hooper has been named as one of 10 finalists for the Senior CLASS Award.
Hooper, a 6-2 senior forward, is a two-time All-American and first-team All-Big Ten selection. Hooper is averaging 19.4 points and a Big Ten-leading 9.6 rebounds per game this season and ranks among the top-12 active players in the nation in career points (2,111), rebounds (1,023) and three-pointers made (261).
Former Husker and All-American Kelsey Griffin was the 2010 Senior CLASS Award winner for women's basketball.
Fan votes will be combined with media and Division I head coaches' votes to determine the winner. Nationwide voting began on Wednesday and fans can vote once per day, per device or computer at www.seniorclassaward.com. Voting is open until March 24.
The award is presented to an outstanding women's basketball player for excellence in community, classroom, character and competition. The award winner will be announced during the NCAA Women's Final Four.
