Nebraska Pep Rally, 12/16/17

Nebraska fans gather at Kansas City Live for a pep rally before the Husker Volleyball team takes on the Florida Gators for the 2017 NCAA Volleyball Championship title Saturday, Dec. 16, 2017, at the Sprint Center in Kansas City, Mo.

KAYLA WOLF, Journal Star

The Nebraska volleyball program won its fifth national championship last week, beating Florida in four sets in the national championship match.

While thousands of fans made the trip to Kansas City, Missouri, for the match, many more watched closely back in Nebraska, and elsewhere.

It was fun to see some of the photos and videos that came from fans watching the match in bars, basketball arenas and elsewhere.

We’d love to hear your story about Saturday night. Where did you watch the match? How many people were there? What was the scene there? What was the reaction when the Huskers won? What were people saying? How did you feel?

If you’d like, please share with us a few paragraphs on what Saturday was like watching the Huskers win the championship, to possibly be used in the newspaper.
