The Nebraska softball team will look to bounce back from losing four of six games when it plays in the Jayhawk Invitational this weekend in Lawrence, Kansas.

The Huskers will open against Green Bay (1-9) at 9 a.m. Friday and turn around to play Northern Iowa (13-7) at 11:30 a.m.

Nebraska will play Tulsa (12-7) and Kansas (16-3) on Saturday and close against Missouri-Kansas City (4-11) on Sunday.

Nebraska (11-7) opened the season 8-2, but has lost four of its past six games, including a series drop to Wichita State at home last week.

After scoring a combined five runs against the Shockers, the Huskers will try to get the bats going. NU went 15-for-70 in their last three games combined.

Senior Kaylan Jablonski and freshman Olivia Ferrell have settled in as the Huskers' one-two punch in the circle. They have combined to start 15 of NU's 18 games, and 99 of the team's 117 innings pitched.

Ferrell's 2.82 earned-run average leads the lead. Jablonski's ERA is at 3.46.
