Tre Bryant made his commitment to Nebraska on Sunday. Now he has hardware to chase.
Bryant's high school team, Christian Brothers College in St. Louis, is in the Missouri Class 6 state semifinals.
Christian Brothers defeated Hazelwood 47-0 on Thursday to advance. Bryant, listed as a four-star running back recruit by 247 Sports, had a 25-yard touchdown run in the win.
Bryant has rushed for 958 yards and 19 touchdowns this season. He also has 16 catches for 272 yards.

Another Husker running back recruit, Aphonso Thomas (Van, Texas) had 116 yards and two touchdowns on 18 carries in Van's 42-30 loss to Kaufman.
NU offensive line recruit John Raridon (West Des Moines, Iowa) and Valley are in the Iowa Class 4A state semifinals after a 20-17 win against Johnston.
Husker safety prospect Lamar Jackson (Elk Grove, California) rushed for 184 yards and four touchdowns and threw for another touchdown in Franklin's 42-0 win against Pleasant Grove.
Nebraska linebacker recruit JoJo Domann (Colorado Springs, Colorado) rushed six times for 81 yards and a touchdown, and caught four passes for 79 yards in Pine Creek's 29-7 win against Palmer Ridge. He also had seven tackles. Pine Creek is 10-0 entering the state playoffs.
NU defensive end recruit Ben Stille had five catches for 62 yards and he blocked a punt in Ashland-Greenwood's 36-7 Class C-1 state quarterfinal loss to Columbus Scotus.
California prep QB standout and Husker recruit Patrick O'Brien (San Juan Capistrano) threw for 252 yards and three touchdowns in San Juan Hills' 66-27 loss to Tesoro.
Tristan Gebbia (Calabasas, California), a 2017 Husker prospect, threw for 432 yards and five touchdowns in his team's 54-26 win against Simi Valley.
Husker recruit Derrion Grim (Stockton, California), who has been putting up big numbers all season, didn't get the chance to do so last week. His team, McNair, defeated Bear Creek by forfeit. The game was canceled after four Bear Creek players were arrested in connection to vandalism on the McNair campus. Bear Creek didn't have enough players available to play.
