Remember the one bad pass Martinez threw Saturday? The one Southern Miss safety Deron Wilson nearly intercepted with nothing but green space ahead of him?

The receiver for whom the pass was intended, Kenny Bell, said the pass was just fine. Bell’s route was the problem.

“Taylor gave me hitch, and I just ran a poor route,” Bell said Monday. “I should’ve stemmed the guy a different way, and I stemmed outside and broke away from the ball. I read it poorly. Taylor delivered a good ball. I ran a poor route.”
