Central Florida football coach Scott Frost watches his team against Florida International in August.

Scott Frost is not the head football coach at the University of Nebraska.

At least, not as of 9:32 p.m. on Nov. 15, 2017.

The lesson: Don’t believe everything Siri tells you.

The mostly helpful voice-activated Apple personal assistant is either a hopeful Husker fan or pulling its data from somewhere that’s got incorrect information. An enterprising tipster alerted the Journal Star on Wednesday night that, if you ask Siri who Scott Frost is, she'll tell you he's the head football coach at Nebraska.

This type of service journalism waits for nobody.

So who does Siri think she is? And where does she get her information?

A quick check of Wikipedia shows that site has the correct workplace and title which, of course, is that Frost is 9-0, No. 15 Central Florida. (UPDATE: It appears Siri did draw the information from Wikipedia, but at a moment when someone had changed the page to say Frost coached here. The dangers of rogue internet-ers.)

Or maybe Siri is telling the future? Who can say.

UPDATE: As enterprising reader Austin Booher pointed out on Facebook, Siri (or whoever keeps editing Mike Riley's Wikipedia page) is up to shenanigans again.
