The Huskers are hosting a significant recruit on campus this weekend -- quarterback Kevin Dillman of Denton, Texas.
“I’ve told him about Nebraska and told him about the great, rich tradition," Dillman's quarterbacks coach Lee Vallejo told HuskersIllustrated.com. "I told him that when he goes up there he better know the name Tommie Frazier and he better know who Tom Osborne is there. He started laughing and said ‘Well, I’m going to find out.'"
Dillman stands 6-feet-4, 220 pounds. He is rated as a four-star prospect by 247Sports and ESPN. Rivals and Scout list him as a three star.
If you're more about offers than stars, Dillman has an impressive list of choices in front of him. Among them: Florida State, Auburn, Arizona, Arizona State, Clemson, Cal, Colorado, Louisville, Ole Miss, Tennessee, UCLA, Vanderbilt, Washington and Utah.
Dillman joins the Denton Guyer High School program this year after his family moved from California following the 2013 season.
Here's something to accompany the words: Dillman's highlights from last season.
