The Big Ten looks like a bit of a monster in the Amway preseason coaches' poll.

The SEC? Not so much.

The SEC has only one team in the top 10 of the poll released Thursday. That would be top-ranked Alabama.

Meanwhile, the Big Ten leads the nation with four top-10 teams: No. 2 Ohio State, No. 6 Penn State, No. 9 Michigan and No. 10 Wisconsin.

No other Big Ten teams cracked the rankings.

Nebraska, however, was among "others receiving votes," garnering 23.

The SEC did place six teams in the top 25, the ACC five.

Husker coach Mike Riley is one of the voters.
