Here come the rally towels.

To help celebrate 50 years of consecutive sellouts at Memorial Stadium, Husker fans will be equipped with rally towels for Nebraska's game Saturday against No. 20 Michigan.

About 9,000 black towels were distributed to UNL student season-ticket holders for Nebraska's Sept. 29 game against Wisconsin. The Huskers rallied for a 30-27 victory.

More than 100 Nebraska student-athletes and volunteers will hand out the towels as fans walk into the stadium Saturday.

Nebraska's string of 323 straight sellouts began on Nov. 3, 1962. Because the Huskers will be playing at Michigan State next week, the Nebraska Athletic Department will celebrate 50 years of sellouts Saturday.

Season ticket-holders will have an opportunity to pick up a free 50-year sellout commemorative poster from Huskers Authentic, while nonseason ticket-holders can purchase the poster.

During the game, video features celebrating the sellout streak will be featured.
