Millard South continued its dominance on the wrestling mat, muscling its way through Saturday's state championship duals in Kearney.
The Patriots defeated Lincoln Southwest, Omaha Burke and Kearney to win the title, one week after taking the team crown at the state individual championships in Omaha.
Millard South defeated Kearney 41-25 in the final to win its third straight dual title.
Lincoln East fell to Kearney 50-19 in the semifinals before losing to Omaha Burke 41-15 in the third-place match.
The Bulldogs won 10 of 14 matches against the Spartans, including three by pinfall. The Spartans got win wins from Micah Odell (138 pounds), Grant Lyman (170), Peyton Aipperspach (195) and Albert Greenwood (220), who won all three of his matches Saturday.
Lincoln Southwest edged Millard West 33-31 to take fifth place.
Jaxon Morrow (106), Zach Bennetts (113), Barrett Muehling (145), Connor Burney (152), Tyler Carstens (160), Justin Shaw (182) and state champion Connor Clanton (220) each won matches to help the Silver Hawks push past Millard West.
The Class B final featured two of the state's top teams, regardless of class. After Skutt won last week's team title in Omaha, it was Gretna taking the duals crown with a 33-26 victory in Saturday's final.
Wins by Grant Bruner at 195 and Tom Kienow at 220 clinched the title for the Dragons.
Valentine pulled a titles sweep, as well, with a 37-30 win against Battle Creek in the Class C final. Broken Bow defeated Syracuse 50-28 for third place, and David City rallied with three straight pins to clip Kearney Catholic 41-39 for fifth place.
The Class D final pitted the top two teams from last week's state tournament team race in champion Burwell and Amherst. It was Amherst getting the edge in the duals final, winning 39-33. Tri County earned a 48-27 win against Plainview to take fifth.
Amherst has now won five straight state dual titles.
