Milford standout senior guard Haley Moore has made an oral commitment to play women’s basketball at Eastern Michigan.

The 5-foot-9 Moore was a Class C-1 second-team all-stater last season who averaged 14.5 points per game, hit 61 three-pointers and shot 36 percent from beyond the arc.

Milford, the Southern Nebraska Conference tournament champion, went 19-3 last season and finished ranked No. 8 in Class C-1.

Eastern Michigan won the Mid-American Conference title last season, going 23-8 and reaching the NCAA Tournament. The Eagles’ first-year head coach is Tony Verdi, a former Nebraska assistant. Former Husker player Nikki Bober is Eastern Michigan’s director of basketball operations.
