A showdown between two nationally ranked high school programs highlights the eight-game lineup announced Wednesday for the 11th annual Heartland Hoops Classic on Feb. 10 at the Heartland Events Center in Grand Island.

Oak Hill Academy from Virginia and Sunrise Christian Academy from Wichita, Kansas, are currently ranked No. 3 and 12, respectively, in the MaxPreps top-25 national rankings. They are slated to play the seventh game of the day at 7:30 p.m.

Three Central Conference schools will be in the classic. Class B No. 5 York takes on Class A Omaha South at 12:30 p.m.; Omaha Skutt and Aurora, No. 2 and 4 in Class B, face each other at 5:45 p.m.; and B No. 1 Platteview plays No. 9 Crete in the nightcap at 9:15.

Tickets go on sale Dec. 15 and are available at the Heartland Events Center box office and online at General admission tickets are $16 for adults and $8 for students, and are good for all eight games. A limited number of courtside seats are available for $75 each.

Schedule: 9 a.m. — South Loup vs. Yutan; 10:45 — Hastings St. Cecilia vs. O’Neill; 12:30 p.m. — Omaha South vs. York; 2:15 — Gretna vs. Ponca; 4 — Grand Island Central Catholic vs. Winnebago; 5:45 — Omaha Skutt vs. Aurora; 7:30 — Oak Hill Academy vs. Sunrise Christian Academy; 9:15 — Platteview vs. Crete.
